Nightmare</u>

The Doctor stirred in his sleep, slowly waking up with the need to visit the little Time Lords room. Careful not to disturb his companion, the Doctor crept off into the halls of his TARDIS in search of the lavatory. Groggily, the Doctor started to realize that the further he went from his room, the darker the halls became.

"One, two, Freddy's coming for you..."

The Doctor paused and listened as he heard this strange melody floated through the air. He shoock himself to a better state of awarness, finding himself not in the white walls of his time ship, but instead in what look like an old boiler room. He could feel the heat on his skin, smell the acrid smoke and hear the pipes sizzling.

"Three, four, better lock your door..."

The Doctor could swear he had heard this song before, but he could not place where. He felt that he should call out for who was there, but he also felt that it wouldnt do any good. Suddenly, he heard the ear splitting sound of something scraping against the pipes. He forze and covered his ears.

"Five, six, grab your crucifix..."

The song grew louder and more meancing as another voice was added to the mix. It was low and demonic, almost reminding the Doctor of Suhtek. The Doctor began to run back towards his room, but stopped when he found a wall that hadnt been there before blocking his way.

"Seven, eight, gonna stay up late..."

As hard as he tried to fight it, the Doctor felt his fear growing in the pit of his stomach. He dared not turn around, because he felt the presance of another person standing right behind him. He could hear an edge of danger coming from the breathing of the person. Gathering his courage, the Doctor dared to turn around, only to be greated by the burnt face of Freddy Krueger and a slash across his face from Kruegers finger blades.

"Nine, ten, never sleep again."

The Doctor woke up with a start, flinging his slumbering companion off him and the couch in the process. After calming his still pounding hearts, the Doctor realized that he was still in the TV room, having dozed off during 'A Nightmare on Elm Street'.

"Good grief, Doctor. You okay?" his companion asked him. The Doctor looked at the TV screen, then to the various tubs and bags of junk food strewn about the floor.

"I am, thank you. Perhaps we should stop eating so much candy during movie night. And really, you shouldnt be eating any of this at all. I thought you were diabetic."

"Aw, Doc. Dont kill my good time." she puffed up and crossed her arms. The Doctor smiled and crawled back into place on the couch.

"So whats next? 'Saw II' or 'The Old, Dark House'?" The Doctor asked. His companion chose the latter and snuggled back into the Doctors chest as the movie started.
Another silly little ficclet. ;p I'm sorry if the Doctor seems out of character, but I'm sleepy and my coffee high is wearing off. :XD:

It just makes sence to me that the Doctor would be scared by scary movies.

well, you certainly got my heart pounding at the start, but then I found out that it was okay *phew* Poor Doctor...
A good concept, but I hardly see the "innocent" 4th Doctor as a horror movie/junk food type of person?
